Mr. Dowell has over six years of professional and financial advisory services experience focusing on financial analysis, credit agreement analysis, and identifying and articulating potential transaction strategies. He works closely with company owners, management teams, private equity groups, lenders and investors in various industries, including oil and gas, industrial, retail, transportation, telecommunications and healthcare.
Before joining Carl Marks Advisors, Mr. Dowell worked as a Restructuring Investment Banking Associate at Guggenheim Partners, where he managed and oversaw multiple simultaneous high-intensity workstreams for clients undertaking various liability management transactions.
Mr. Dowell began his career as a Project Associate at Bridgewater Associates, where he assisted in research, project management, and operational functions for the publication of Ray Dalio’s book “Principles” and his subsequent TED talk.
Mr. Dowell holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Florida and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a FINRA registered representative.
