Mr. Tomaskovic is the CEO of Carl Marks Securities LLC with over 25 years of experience advising both public and privately held companies across a wide range of constituents, including management teams, boards of directors, and equity investors. He specializes in structuring and executing mergers & acquisitions, including cross-border and leveraged buyouts, as well as refinancings and dividend recapitalizations.
Prior to joining Carl Marks Advisors, Mr. Tomaskovic was a senior vice president at RBS Greenwich Capital, where he focused on corporate finance and advisory solutions. Previously, he worked in the financial institutions group at Lehman Brothers, most recently serving as vice president, focusing on M&A. Mr. Tomaskovic began his career at Meyercord Advisors Inc., a boutique turnaround advisory firm, where he assisted in the restructuring, purchase and sale of several businesses.
Mr. Tomaskovic earned a BS in Finance from Rutgers University and an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, where he graduated with honors. He is a FINRA General Securities Principal.
